Our Travel Map!

Our route!

We are hitting the road on May 10th and are heading toward the Yukon Territory, British Columbia, Alaska and beyond!  The plan is to explore the Americas and the special places that have been on the list for a long time.  We’ll be starting with the Ottawa River in Ontario, the Boundary Waters, and then make our way west to Alaska with multi-day trips on the Middlefork of the Salmon and the Snake Rivers. Alaska's Tatshenshini River is scheduled for mid-July with our friends from Nahanni Wild. The “Tat”, as the river is affectionately known, traverses about 140 miles through the Yukon Territory, British Columbia and ends in the Gulf of Alaska.  It flows through part of the world’s largest bio-preserve and the world’s largest non-polar ice cap with some of the world’s most active glaciers (see it while you still can!). We can’t wait! Then we’re off to Juneau and Glacier Bay, the coast range of British Columbia, Vancouver Island, Seattle, Olympic Peninsula, through Oregon and California to Baja California Sur by the end of December. Phew, that’s just the plan for 2019. Who knows what 2020 will bring.
